Much better Its great now. Before the owner was never there, seemed like the owner didnt care about anything. I saw her a few times and she seemed like all she wanted to do was run out of there. The new owner is alright, atleast shes there and the place looks CLEAN! I can let my child run around and play now since the floors are clean. Stylist are nice. the Yellow Balloon deserves a chance I've been taking my daughter here since she was a little girl and she loves it. Yes. The receptionists do seem to be mostly high school girls, but they mostly offer respectful and prompt service. There is one that has been there for a while (I think she's hispanic) and she's is always great at greeting customers and managing all of the appointments, especially on busy days, Speaking of which, avoid saturdays, by the way, if you can't deal with crowded spaces. Living Social Deals not respected The front desk person is very rude. She was rude on the phone. As soon as she heard that we had a Living Social deal, she declined to see us the same day and told me to come in the next day when I repeatedly told her I could not make it the next day. We finally settled on an appointment that worked for everyone. When my husband showed up slightly late with our daughter (at most 3 minutes late), the front desk person was extremely rude to my husband. She told my husband that they had taken so... read more
Rude service at front desk The front desk girl was extremely rude. We went there for our baby's first hair cut and the front desk girl has not answered any of our questions. The website that shows up when we search for Yellow Ballon is not associated with the one in Kentlands. Please don't be fooled by the website offers. They don't offer anything. I have no problem with the stylist but since we have to go through the front desk, we are never going back there.
