Having a wound is stressful and knowing that the incredible team at Atrium Health Union has my best health in mind is so comforting. The kind and helpful receptionist Heather, the two warm, dedicated, caring and professional nurses Chasity and Ashley, and Dr. Brad Bissell who has a perfect bedside manner, is concerned about his patients, is expertly skilled and very understanding - having a to see a wound care specialist weekly is much easier and I am grateful to have such an excellent health care team looking after me!!
I have been going to the wound clinic for treatment off an on for over 10 years. I have never encountered anything but helpful, smiling staff. They all share a comradery with each other and patients that sets everyone at ease. The nursing staff is always helpful, Dr Bower is personable and (and funny!). I hate to HAVE to go, but I am always treated with respect and patience when I do go!
Wonderful, caring people. Dr. Bauer is not just an excellent doc, but makes you feel at ease. Like you are his only patient. Nurses are exceptional, concerned and friendly. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Went in because I had an ingrown toenail the doctor said the only cure was to cut part of the nail away I was going in for surgery a week later so I said ok do what you have to do The shots in your toe really hurt the Dr started to work on the toe I told him it wasn't numb he gave me more shots and was going to wait the nurse which I think was his wife told him your not leaving the room till your done he waited no longer and continued to cut my nail with out it being completely numb came to find out it was closing time and s... read more
