Great place to receive training in couples therapy. Dr. Woodsfellow is a great instructor.
Dr. Woodsfellow took time on more than one occasion to help me find a counselor in my area, and so far I've been very impressed with his recommendations. Much respect for his patience and generosity!
Disappointed! Didn't really try to understand either of us or our underlying problems. Has extensive psychological background and tossed pre-packed stuff (i.e. your "love language") out to try to solve problems. Kinda goofy. At $500 per session is stupidly expensive. Three years of going there am still happily married. Just be aware this is basically a scam. He's just not that good.
I have been attending workshops and consultations at the Woodsfellow Training Center for 15 years. Each experience has increased my insight and techniques for working with couples. When I began I did not especially enjoy working with couples but I have come to market my practice more and more as a relationship counselor. I attended the Erhics with Couples training and I really enjoyed it. I took away several things that I need to modify or add to my informed consent. This knowledge makes me feel more confident when counseling couples.
