Stayed here twice and love it! Once stayed in the inn itself and once in the cabin. Location is fabulous, setting is beautiful. Always clean and quiet. Warning that there’s no AC in the cabin and it can get quite warm in the upper room. And there’s no elevator in the hotel so schlepping everything up many flights of stairs can be a workout but it’s so. Worth. It. Love this place.

Would have love some pizza and apps for the fireworks, otherwise friendly staff, great view, and you qnnont beat the fireworks from here.

Very uncomfortable beds. Yes,it’s rustic and next to a beautiful lake, but if you can’t sleep comfortably at night why stay there? We enjoyed the location and the people but my wife and others in our group were not happy with the hard mattresses. One had to go out a purchase an air mattress, my wife had to sleep in pillows. Somehow the owner just shrugs it off and talks up the positive aspects of the hotel.

I’m a J1 student and came here from Uzbekistan.. Even my country is faaaar from the hotel, personally I can feel myself with my parents. The Woods Inn is not just a place to work, It can be home for every student like me because of friendly atmosphere. Futhermore, the nature and weather can keep u young and strong forever, The most valuable point here that we are living our parents Charlie and Nancy Frey, and our grandma Nancy Sehring😇😇☺️
