This restaurant does not follow the North Carolina mandate for wearing masks. The hostess and the manager would not let us let us sit outside because there was rain in the forecast. We told the hostess that we would take our chances and the manager still refused. We will not return.
So I guess my question is what are you doing to instill constant consumer confidence? I feel terrible for the restaurant business, your lack of wearing mask's is only hurting your wait staff and bottom line. If you are refusing to wear masks and doing the right things right then why make the attempt of reopening. The majority of customers are wanting to get out of the house and wish to be safe while doing so. You should do your part in making patrons feel safe along with your employees. Tonight was so disappointing. I've enjoyed this place for several years... however, tonight's visit was so different. While food and drinks were good, as expected, their adherence to NC COVID regulations was minimal, at best. There was a flagrant disregard for customer and each others' safety. I am so disappointed! This was my favorite restaurant for years. The food was mediocre and, the restrooms were so dirty. Our waitress was not educated on the wines or menu. The manager sat and played on his phone or was flirting with the young hostess. He never walked around to check on anyone and, was very unfriendly! I am so sad as we have celebrated many milestones here. I was absolutely shocked how awful it was. We will never come back.
Food - Even with a limited menu the food was mediocre. Nice wine selection however they ran out of the right type of wine glasses for wine served. The portion size was good along with presentation. We did not wait long for the food. Staff- The wait staff was great. The greeter was smiling and honest about wait times. The waiters/waitresses presented well dressed in all black and clean.
