Amazing food and if you want to see the action you can sit right at the Chefs bench! The lobster tail and seafood broil was heavenly!!!
Excellent brunch this past Sunday. French press was spot on- our server Taylor was amazing. Host greeted us with a smile and checked on us. We will be back again!
This was the most exquisite dining experience I've ever had in Columbus. From the moment we walked in, Ian you made us feel as though we were guests in your own home. Such a warm, cozy, yet contemporary design. Sitting at the bar was a delight watching chef Max at the helm. Each plate coming out perfectly, tantalizing to the eyes and I'm sure everyone's palate. It was difficult to decide on entrées as we watched them exit the kitchen, but my husband got the short ribs and I got the duck pot pie. My only regret is not having ... read more
So impressed by this restaurant. The staff is welcoming and perfectly attentive. The ambiance is cozy and classy. And the food is impeccable - literally melts in your mouth and cooked perfectly. One of the best culinary experiences I've had in a while. I will be back and will probably bring everyone I know!
The Whitney house staff went above and beyond throwing my surprise 30th birthday this past weekend and I cannot thank them enough! For example, when I commented on the flavor of a side dish, our waitress immediately went and asked the chef the ingredients, Ian went and got my family (at another restaurant!) to come across the street when it was time for the surprise, they cut my giant birthday cake, made fabulous wine recommendations...the list goes on and on. A great dining and event experience, we'll be back
Got to experience The Whitney House with two great friends last night for the first time but it definitely will not be the last. Was lucky enough to meet Chef Chris, thank you for taking the time to come out to see your aunt and meet her friends. The food was amazing, I had the short ribs and cauliflower puree, excellent! Service was top notch and the 3 desserts we had were so yummy.
Went to celebrate my sisters birthday. Started out with the sangria highly recommend, they make it a little different then most, it's not as sweet, which is why I liked it. For starters we had fried green olives and the heirloom caprese. 3 out of 4 had the burger and I had the adult grilled cheese with tomato soup, all selections were great. A great atmosphere along with excellent service!
Amazing burger, it simply melts in your mouth and the bacon ummmmmm the bacon. Our server coined the phrase "the Ferrari" of bacon. Understatement it's I describable! Just go try it
Absolutely terrific dining experience. Food was delicious - the pesteo paillard was incredible. Service was top notch. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
