It all started back in 1971 when the late Dee A. Divine first got the idea of turning his familys 70 acre farmland into a golf course. Much debate was made around the family dinner table. Changing their lives from raising cows to herding golf balls was not a unanimous opinion among the Divine family. Dee won out however as construction finally began in 1972.
