First, we love the White Horse and go many times. The food is fantastic. However, yesterday we took two from England to experience what we have always had, and were a little disappointed. Not from the food, but our guests ordered sweet potato fries, and regular fries came out instead. They ordered tea with honey, and no honey came out. I was going to speak up, but our guests did not want me to make a fuss. So, it was a good experience, but not our usual great experience. Those little things you know!
We went here for dinner last night. The food and service were amazing! Definitely can't wait to come back!!
We are never disappointed when we come here. Good food, service and atmosphere! They did a beautiful job on their addition!
Just went there for my birthday dinner and it was delicious! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is we felt rushed by the curt waitress who was practically running from table to table and didn't look happy about it. The gentleman who brought us our entree did seem pleasant and hospitable, acknowledging with a "Good Night" when we were exiting. We love the ancient wood atmosphere that is so relaxing and warm. Too bad the personnel didn't join in the mode.
I loved it - I liked the mix of people, I thought that was fun. Great food, great service and very comfortable.
