This was a great hotel for the few days we were in DC. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Shower in the bathroom had a proper door and plenty of space by the sink for toiletries. Our floor also had a place to refill our water bottles which was a nice touch. Hotel lobby also had a water station which was really useful given how hot it was in DC when we were there. Buyer beware. We prepaid for a room on 4th of July months in advance of the 250th anniversary. The afternoon on the day we were supposed to check-in, they cancelled our reservation due to overbooking. Available rooms within walking distance of the mall were $1100 and up - which is why we booked in advance. Simply put, they screwed us over and refused to make it right.
