Gorgeous location, menu is limited though...an abundance of pasta dishes with protein add-ons. No entrees with just chicken or steak. Happy hour food menu doesn't have good selection. Service was OK, charged $4 for splitting a plate when we ordered 2 entrees. Was told it was $1. 4 star for service as plates weren't cleared timely.

Although a beautiful location, the treatment of staff and professionalism of the Owner and CEO are substandard at best. I recently brought my wife for breakfast, and next to us was the Owner and his CEO discussing private, intimate and confidential information about employees, investors, fiscal concerns and private contracts.. I have stayed a few times at this property, but I am not impressed with my stay this time at all. I am a Marriot platinum member and have stayed at many properties around the world and this one just doesn't live up to my expectations. At check in, not upgrade was offered even though a search on the app showed many better rooms available. The room I was put in had a connecting room with loud people in there and it sounded like they were in our room with us. We had a wonderful stay at The Westin Bear Mountain. Our room was impressively spacious and very comfortable. A huge highlight was the surprise free upgrade to a room with a stunning mountain view – thank you so much to the staff for that incredible perk! We loved relaxing in the large bathtub and spending time on the big balcony taking in the scenery.
