won't be going back – let's start with the pros: nice location, definitely a fan of the pre-wax drinking. not too hard to get in either. now let's really rip into it: isn't the point of getting waxed to REMOVE ALL HAIR from the area? after a less than pleasant bikini I was left a sticky mess with leftover wax AND having to go home and tweeze. definitely skip it.
WAX BAR – To all the users writing BAD reviews.....GET A LIFE...or at least stop hiding behind fake screen names..... This is the BEST waxing joint in town. Having worked in the salon industry myself for over 12 years I can honestly say that every experiance that I have had at the Wax Bar has been nothing but 5 star!! not a great place =( – not happy with the outcome of my waxing. not a place I'd reccommend at all. the place seemed cool enough I mean, they serve beer, but that doesnt make up for crappy waxing.
Best Wax in Seattle – The Wax Bar is the only place I will get waxed. I have been a client of Karen's for years, and I will be as long as she is in the business. She is friendly, professional and fast. No one else touches my eyebrows (or lip, or underarms, or bikini area, etc.)! The atmosphere is nice and calm--very soothing. I highly recommend trying the Wax Bar out.

terrible services, never never going back!!!! – OMG the worst waxing ever! Not only did I get poorly shaped and completely different brows but had to listen to agonizing personal conversation from Karen my waxer. Not not an experience I wish to repeat and I will spend a long time growing my precious brows back....
saw my friends awful brows! – I'm friends with lollygee (the review below) and felt inclined to review after seeing how badly her poor eyebrows were treated!! They really are two different eyebrows now! I wrote this review not just to complain, but to deter anyone else from the same experience! DON'T GO!

Best Waxing experience!! – I recently went into The Wax Bar in Ballard for more than one waxing service and I can't say enough good things about it. As soon as I stepped into this beautifully chic white and turquoise setting, I was immediately put at ease by the serene surroundings and friendly staff.
