I’m a regular at the watermark hotel bar Wren and something very upsetting happened tonight 5/29/26 We came for dinner and drinks, spent over 3 hours and over $250 and went to validate our parking tickets and front desk of hotel said it was all good to go. At the gate, still had to pay for it. If you guys are not willing to validate tickets, just be clear about it. But lying to customers is low, and disrespectful.
We are in Room 1405 checked out May 26. The room and facilities are nice, but this has been the most unwelcoming hotel experience I’ve ever encountered. I worked in the hotel industry for over 10 years in both Asia and the United States, so I understand how important hospitality and guest interaction are. Before arriving, I called to ask if early check-in was possible since we have two small children and simply wanted to enjoy a memorable "local staycation" for Memorial Day weekend. Beautiful hotel! So convenient having a restaurant, brewery, and outdoor space all attached to the hotel. Plus a Wegmans right next door. I never look forward to needing to drive in northern Virginia, so it was really nice not needing to!
