The Waterford at Mansfield has such fun events for their residents. I really enjoy seeing the Facebook account and their smiling faces. Kudos to the staff that organizes these fun events. It makes a world of difference.
The residents are truly the heart of this community. There is a strong sense of friendship and support among them, making it a joyful place to be! I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each and every one of them. I truly look forward to coming into "work", which doesn't feel like work when I enjoy what I do. How are you only going to have 1 aide to 87 residents on nights the nurse had 116! Oh this was not just call offs, they staff this way! Soooo very unethical and irresponsible of management! This is a private pay facility meaning they pay out of pocket for the care they do not recive!! How could they receive proper care at that ratio! They have a decent amount of more skilled residents 20 to be exact! Out of that 87, 20 needed at the minimum changed! I took off the unit that night 6 65 gal bags of trash!
