This casual neighborhood eatery is wildly popular for its amazing spread of appetizers, burgers, pizzas and pastas, served alongside excellent tap beer and wine varieties. Highlights from the menu include the house breaded Walleye Sammich which becomes doubly delicious with extra cheese and the Veggie Burger which is adored by both vegetarians and carnivores. Specialty beers as well as a handful of cider varieties are phenomenal and couple well with the food menu, as do the wines. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with... read more

We settle ( happily)on the Walrus many times when talking through what we are hungry for- we tell others.." Always good, never had a bad meal!"
Great service. Very clean. Best hot artichoke/spinach dip.
Great pizza! I highly recommend the Garlic fries!
Was a really nice place! The chicken quesadilla was amazing and they soups :) friendly staff and amazing desserts
Fantastic! Shame we discovered it only a month before we leave Minot to move to California. When the Air Force eventually sends us back up here, we will definitely be coming back! Their craft beer selection is excellent, their spinach artichoke dip was an awesome appetizer, and I cannot believe it but I actually had a superb seared sashimi grade ahi tuna filet! Definitely will try to get in one or two more visits before we move.
I've eaten at The Walrus a few times before, always enjoyed my experience, but this last time was abysmal! The poutine was awful, and I was not expecting fried cheese curds. The usually delicious Thor was stale and off tasting as well. If that had been my first experience, I wouldn't go back, however, hoping it was simply an off day.
Ordered through Food Dudes.... took over an hour to get to us. My burger was rock hard burned. Bun was soggy compared to the toasted bun the menu said. 1/2 lb burger? Quarter at best. Fries.... not even cooked! Soggy....not even slightly crisp. Pizza? Not even cooked thru. Had to put it in the oven to even get it browned. Do NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. WORST FOOD EVER. Could have spent the 50.00 elsewhere and came out much better.
