Fourth day no water nov 4th Another new month no hot water after paying rent this started November first it’s been three days so far! This is the killer because I have to do laundry and need to bathe and can’t. We work hard for our space and can’t even enjoy it. Also this mess has been here since we moved in it stinks! Current resident and absolutely hate this complex. We have been here 3 months and love most of the people we've interacted with but I'm sick of smelling pot for starters. My neighbor smokes and it is so bad we cannot use the main bathroom without getting sick to our stomach from the constant smell! Secondly, the entire horseshoe around the 3 building area we live have NO LIGHTS at all that work. There are entirely to many homeless around here for there to be no security lights of any kind. The villas at midtown do not know how to manage property, people, time, or resources. They have gone through numerous new staff changes in less than a year. The pools were open only about a week this past summer with one being full of algae, one has been unusable for years, and the other was drained and never refilled. They move the dumpsters around the property when it's convenient for them to inconvenience the tenants. Every month the hot water is cut off right after we pay rent RIGHT AFTER this is crazy saying they have an emergency that will keep the water off for three days?? The maintenance men have no idea what they are doing as nobody fixed my clogged drain for months and told me they couldn’t because they need to “turn the water off” to unclog a tub drain that not true I fixed it on my own without “cutting off my water” they are stupid now I’m out of 1,000 and I can’t Even shower. This place is a slum!!! DO. NOT. CONSIDER. RENTING! Maintenance is dreadful. Every few days my hot water is out. The section 8 next door neighbors make life utter hell. They live on the balcony, smoke dope nonstop and put their blunts out on the bldg. They argue and fight and I have NEVER spent a peaceful day free from their noise.
