This property is not hospitality focused. It is a passive income for people who don't live in the state and don't care about you or your safety. They only care that your credit card clears. Free guest laundry is one washer and one dryer shared between 10 to 12 units and multiple families. Be prepared to wait to wash those towels. The rooms were ok. The last time our family enjoyed the former America's Paradise Resort was 20 years ago. At that time the owner was onsite, and they had a great rapport with the guests. Any issues with maintenance of the cottages were addressed within 24 hours. The present owners are apparently off-site and they are understaffed. The present staff is accommodating and friendly. We booked cottage 3, and absolutely LOVED it. Best view of the lake on the whole property. The cabin was not fancy and the bathroom small, but we had plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 younger kids. Perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Never had any issues that even required contacting the front desk. Great for younger kids. Ours loved the little beach area.
