I lived at the Villages at General Grant from 2014-2018! It had such a convenient location, 2 dog parks (loved the dog wash station in the summer) and a very large pool! For a new new to STL resident, I really recommend to as its on the cusp of the county/city and so many people to meet as a young professional!
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. I have been dealing with ongoing sanitation and noise issues at this property since January 2025, it is now APRIL 2026 and despite countless complaints and emails to management, nothing has been properly resolved. There has been repeated dog feces and urine left in hallways, storage areas, and even beneath my balcony, where it has been left to sit and rot. The smell is not occasional—it is constant. Office CONTINUES to screw things up. My cat died 6 MONTHS AGO. Apparently when my fiance came in to the office and TO THEIR FACES told them we had no pets BECAUSE THEY DIED, it "didnt get passed up to accounting", and so they CONTINUED TO CHARGE US PET RENT.
