Run don’t walk away from this complex. Management was useless. An employed maintenance worker came into my unit citing a gas leak, yet didn’t document it anywhere following their protocol nor did he enter any of the other units on my floor or in my building. Something felt off about the interaction so I pressed the front desk and they admitted the employee wasn’t even WORKING on the day he came to my unit. It was his day off. I lived in two different units from 2002 to around 2008 maybe don't remember exactly maybe longer. I moved back recently after selling my house that's another story but being pet friendly and close to work were 2 huge draws for me. I've found I like to just come and go and not worry about what will need to be fixed next or lawn maintenance. Everyone seems friendly. I have no real complaints. I lived at this apartment complex since 2021 and recently moved out due to wanting to be closer to my family in March of 2024. I never had any major issues with my apartment and all minor issues were resolved by maintenance within 24 hours. The apartments are obviously older, so I honestly expected there to be more issues than there actually were. The area is nice and quiet. I lived at General Grant in 2000, so my review is almost irrelevant. Yet, I did stay there. It was my very first apartment after aging out. I lived across from the pool and laundry house in an efficiency. It was a very nice apartment that I lived at with my late sister and her daughter. I hope you don’t mind, but sometimes I drive through your property just to remember her. We were both foster kids that were jointly placed in the same setting.
