Lived here for a few years. It was fine until we had flooding problems in our apartment. Management was unresponsive in fixing the problem and we eventually moved out. Lack of professionalism was shocking, especially considering we had been great tenants for years. As long as you do not run into any issues, you will be fine in living here.
*Updated my review 8/14/25* When I first signed my lease for a townhome style unit, I had no intentions of moving out for the next 5-8 years and genuinely enjoyed the complex and my apartment. The staff in the office, especially Alen & Dawn, are very friendly and helpful when you reach out to them directly with issues. The pool is nice and they always have lifeguards staffed, so if you have kids, that's a plus. It isn't the worst complex, but this property has some serious pest and moisture/flooding problems. Pay about $1000 all in for cockroaches, broken railings, and a place that has clearly been chain smoked in!
I have been living here for going on two years now and could not recommend the Villages at General Grant more. Not only do they have a ton of floor plans to suit your needs and a ton of wonderful amenities, but their staff has always been amazing. Alen specifically has been so kind and attentive any time we have contacted the office for any issue. I could not appreciate it more!
Overall not too bad. Really wish tenants with dogs clean up it’s terrible. Will not let my dog in the dog yards so much poop. Also so much on the corner at Grant Village Dr where you turn up the hill. It’s all over a lot of dried up. So fine whoever is in that apt that leaves it. Cleaning up after dog it’s really hard. A lot of pot issues. Can smell as walking. More lightning would be appreciated for when walk dog at night.
