The chips and salsa was delicious and very fresh. The guacamole made at the table as I must. I got the shrimp tacos and was very happy with them. I also thought the cost was very good.

Ordered the Alpine Burger which was rather on the smaller side. My daughter ordered the Veggie Sandwich on Olive Bread. Since we shared the 2 lunches, I tasted hers also. The bread was either thawed out or not fresh, IMO. No crust to speak of, or "olive" flavor, as in other olive breads I've tasted. All-in-all, lunch was no more than average, although the service was good. Prices were very reasonable.

We had a wonderful time in Kent shopping at the bookstore before having a wonderful lunch. The salsa and chips were delicious.

Couldn't tell you about the food because we never got to order. Very busy Labor Day Monday. About 1:00pm. Sitting outside on a gorgeous day. Waited about 20 minutes for a table, and the waiter seated us. She was nice and was the only person waiting tables outside. She brought us water and she never came back to our table. At 1:45pm we got up and went for ice cream for lunch.

You can't get a better Oaxacan meal outside of Mexico than you can get at the Villager. Tuesday nights are BYO, and the food is matched only by the service. If you see mole on the menu, do yourself a favor and order it. Thank me later.
