the restaurant was dead for a Friday night at 6pm. now I know why. the prime rib was awful. grizzly, bland, tough. we sent it back and just paid for our appetizer. not the village inn or prime rib I remembered with great food and crowded

Dinner was great, the staff was pleasant, and the food was incredible. I would highly recommend The Village Inn to everyone.

Went to Auburn to try this restaurant. After being seated and ordered drinks, waitress came back to take our order. Wanted to order a platter of clams and scallops and was going to share. We were informed that the company has a policy if you share there is a $3.00 fee. They tried to convince us to order a side salad and they wouldn't have to charge the fee. I did not want a side salad - As a paying customer - Shouldn't we have the right to share what we purchase with out having an extra $3.00 fee added to the bill. Just anot... read more

It’s was ok not as good as in the past. Waitress didn’t come and ask how food was until we where done. Calamari wasn’t fresh. $4 lobster add on was a joke.Scallop basket was ridiculous for the price.
