You don’t get what you pay for here. One of the more expensive spots in Provo. Just seems like management is lazy. When I arrived our room was dirty. Now that I’ve lived there a year the trash is supposed to be valet but it hardly gets taken out so the hallways always smell horrible. Also, they installed a new system for the doors but didn’t think about the fact that they don’t have internet in their garage so the remote key on your phone doesn’t connect and unless the door is broken, you can’t get in. Hidden in your monthly rent are excessive towing fees. UTA ( Utah Towing) pays kickbacks back to the Village for each towing. The village then excessively calls for towing services to boost revenues for their owners/investors …essentially preying on students who live or visit the place; milking them for every last drop!
I will say excluding the prices of living there it’s a great apartment. Pool, hot tub, mini gym, outdoor grills, a little mocktail bar and it’s super close to campus. Very well maintained buildings and pretty decent rooms and kitchens compared to many other complexes. If you’re willing to pay a bit more than normal for around the area you get private rooms, in apartments laundry, full kitchen. This is my second year living here. I will say it is on the more expensive side, but there are a lot of great amenities. I have had a good experience with management and maintenance responding fast. They also make an effort to put on a lot of fun activities for the residents. The apartments are also very nice!
Apartment is well located, and management does a good job. -1 star for the constantly broken doors/locks -1 star for leaving the dehumidifier in my apartment for a month and a half after my apartment flooded -1 star for the *incredibly* expensive parking. My last apartment was an 8th of cost.
