The Zoo is a way good time. Don't miss the tigers (Sumatran and Siverian varieties), giraffes (tall variety) and meercats. The newly landscaped exhibits are very attractive (haaay good lookin') and offer some up-close-and-personal views of exotic species. There's still a lot of work to be done here, though. I love this zoo! Got to see koalas and kangaroos for the first time! Some reviews say that many of the animals didn't look happy - my understanding is that many of them are injured and rescued and live here because they're unable to survive in wild life. Even more so why my daughter and I love this place! It's also awesome that you can see many of these animals close-up.

It was a fun place for the family to go to but it would have been nice to have more kid friendly areas in the zoo. The food is incredibly expensive for the quality and next time we are going to make sure to bring our own.
