Gorgeous lush Italianate property, very private, very quiet, very romantic, high on a hilltop in Los Feliz, with expansive, unfettered views of the City. My husband and I suddenly realized we had a 20th anniversary to celebrate, but the pandemic had our options limited. Villa Sophia is hands down the most luxurious stay I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. In light of the pandemic, staying at this beautiful estate, with the most welcoming host Tim, has given a new meaning to "staycation". While we can't hop on a plane to Italy, Villa Sophia is like living on the Amalfi coast without having to bring your passport. My husband and I spent 3 nights at Villa Sophia in September. Tim is a wonderful host, helping us with our bags and showing us the ins and outs of the property. The villa itself is gorgeous with wonderful sheets and towels and very high quality bath products. (In fact, every time I use the hand lotion, it brings me back to our beautiful stay).
