I had an excellent experience today. I left looking like a doll, all thanks to Jen 🤗 This was my first time going there. To book an appointment you have to fill a short online form and provide your credit card. This is just in case you have to cancel outside of the grace period. The waiting area is nice, you have complimentary treats and water of choice. For parking, if theres space, you can park in the street parking or walk from heb (as long as you are careful). Really love the cut I got from Joshua! The way he cut it, really made my wavy hair so much curlier. I took off one star because my Mom had an appointment later the same day for a perm. Her perm is beautiful and we both love it. However, she is on a fixed income. She knew the cost of the service ahead of time when she called. However, and extra box of perm was used during the service, and it wasn't discussed. She found out once she was at the counter.
This is the first time I have had my hair color done with Josh (he normally just cuts my hair which I love too). I LOVE my new color. Love it! I’ve been getting lots of compliments on it, too! And my friend loved it so much that she just booked and appointment to get her hair done. Highly recommend Josh. We absolutely love the crew at Valdez salon for the whole family. Josh cuts my hair, my husband’s, as well as my 2.5 year old daughters and my four year old sons. He is awesome with our kids and does is a great barber and stylist. His wife Claudia does my MILs hair and his mother Laura does my texture services. At Valdez it’s a family affair and we love the good vibes with staff. If you’re looking for a family salon with experienced staff this is place!
