I'm a bit mixed on how I feel....when I was in I had no problems at all and for the past 6 weeks with dr visit, PT and 3 Er visits and still no answers as to what is causing my husbands chronic/severe back pain with the last visit this past Friday night he needs an MRI done so we can find out what is going on and the dr in Er said they only do them in emergency and due to the patients staying in the hospital they are usually filled up? Don't make no damn sense to me when someone is in this much pain and can hardly walk let a... read more
I think it is a crying shame you have one child in the er that has got to have surgery and the hospital police tell you that your 12 and 3 year old have to go sit in the waiting room alone so if at all possible I will never use this hospital again
If you have a major problem or illness come here. Don't mess around with regional hospitals get to the University as soon as possible the people there are very friendly and this place is ran like a hospital and not like a zoo like the hospital in Tupelo MS.
Umc really need to think of the family as well as the patient in this emergency room and make everyone comfortable as possible!!! I've been here since 7am sitting on a little hard stool no cushion no back..it's 6pm and we still waiting..they are definitely in no hurry. .

Most kind and concern staff to their patients some have pray for me I'm graceful for UMMC. They have also delivered three of my children's just Gracious!!!!
