We are a twisted American Diner in the heart of Salem, MA - just yards away from the commuter rail station. We are a foodie haven, not a greasy spoon. We serve Bacon, Beer & Espresso - along with the best brisket hash you'll ever try. There is a Soda Jerk and home-made buttermilk biscuits with red eye gravy. Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch are served all day. So grab a stool, sip a cuppa and chat with your neighbor, cuz we ain't got no TV.

This place is AWESOME!
Went here for the first time this morning, before walking over to work. Best decision! Had a relaxing breakfast, with awesome pancakes (can't wait to try the rest of the menu!), great coffee, and my waitress (& the rest of the staff) was very friendly! Excited to go back with my fiance! And I love the "setup" inside - more spacious than you'd think from the outside, and very welcoming atmosphere!!
Varied fare, everything we had was done perfectly. If you are in Salem and don't stop in for a bite you are a stupid twit.
Great food. Be sure to notice the light fixtures.

Delicious and high quality food; I've never had a bad meal here. If you go during the weekend, expect a line in the morning. The PELT is a great lunch time meal, especially if you're hungry.
After years of driving to Portsmouth or flying to Austin or Minneapolis for top breakfasts, this Badly needed interesting breakfast / brunch place in Salem is everything I'd hoped for and is far and away the Best Breakfast in Salem and easily in my top 5 Best Breakfast places in the USA. GREAT staff, interesting and improving menu. Friendly local, oddball vibe - while not pretentious, no mean feat. Raspberry lime rickey and pancakes with Streusel butter are my faves. Let's hope they're here for a long, long time!
