We are a twisted American Diner in the heart of Salem, MA - just yards away from the commuter rail station. We are a foodie haven, not a greasy spoon. We serve Bacon, Beer & Espresso - along with the best brisket hash you'll ever try. There is a Soda Jerk and home-made buttermilk biscuits with red eye gravy. Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch are served all day. So grab a stool, sip a cuppa and chat with your neighbor, cuz we ain't got no TV.

Great food and atmosphere with friendly staff and quaint deco.
There wasn't a thing I didn't like about The Ugly Mug! Great food, service and atmosphere! We will visit every time we are in Salem!!
Awesome time at the Ugly Mug Diner, service is fantastic, the food is sooo grea( the brisket chipolte hash is delicious, the omelets are great and so are the biscuits and the atmosphere is so much fun..coming back this Sunday

Best place I've ever ate breakfast you won't regret it in back quite a few times since then and everyone I brought with me has loved it too any of the eggs Benedict is awesome
Left you a comment via your webpage last week. Still never got a response. So since you are so busy and obviously don't care what I had to say (PS it wasn't bad, just a few issues) we will not be back and I will let others know, eat there, you will enjoy it, but any issues, don't bother, they don't care. Too bad, guess being hip means not caring.
Just had the Elvis Waffle, my god... Best waffle I ever had.
Thinly veiled hostility towards vegans and so-called "hipsters"! Very negative sign as you walk in the door! Why offer vegan options like the black bean burger if you don't want or business? I'm not amused! :/
