We serve Bacon, Beer & Espresso - along with the best brisket hash you'll ever try. There is a Soda Jerk and home-made buttermilk biscuits with red eye gravy. Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch are served all day. So grab a stool, sip a cuppa and chat with your neighbor, cuz we ain't got no TV.

Food was good! Today Host/waitress with red hair had a nasty attitude. We liked it the first day, Aaron was our server he was awesome - second day we left and went to Reds becuase of ole nasty at the front!
Ate breakfast here for a day to explore Salem, i found this place recommended on a Facebook group for people visiting Salem. My friends and i thoroughly enjoyed our meal and coffee drinks! Our waitress was super sweet and even suggested some places for us to grab drinks and a good lunch! I loved the vibe of the place and felt very at home. 10/10 recommend.
I have 3 really good breakfast places to go to. They are all excellent. what I love most about The Ugly Mug Diner is they serve traditional breakfast but they also do an eclectic spin on some breakfast staples.. i haven't eaten lunch there. They have a soda jerk which has blood orange soda. Hands down the best Steak and Eggs. Try the Fried Green Egg Sandwich. We had an absolutely fantastic breakfast! Lovely staff and AMAZING, creative food. We had the breakfast poutine and the chipotle brisket hash benedict. Not to mention it’s a business I definitely feel good supporting. Definitely check it out if you’re in Salem!
Best pancakes, EVER. Don’t skip on the streusel butter. Fried green tomatoes egg benny is also a must. Just order the whole menu, life is short. Good coffee, amazing staff ❤️
