Great conversations w tour guides who are also the hospital workers. Great people, fascinating turtles, terrible insight into diseases & unthinkable harm caused by humans, fishing methods & pollution. Gotta get souvenirs just so you feel you have a connection to the hospital & their quietly heroic work to save such gentle giants.
Their rescue and educational programs are exceptional.
This is a wonderful place to visit and receive newsletters from. They are so dedicated to saving and helping turtles, it's heartwarming what they have done and continue to do. I love visiting whenever we are in the area ( I live in NY). I wish I lived near by so I could volunteer to help. I urge everyone to sign up to receive their newsletter and to make it a destination if in the area....you will be pleasantly surprised at the experience!

I love all the knowledge they share and the videos!!! I am so fascinated with turtles and since I can't see these beauties everyday, this is a great way to learn and see them.
We loved it so much we got a membership so we can visit anytime! We bring all our friends and family here :)

Great place to visit and get educated on sea turtles and their plight. I urge any of you who don't know about this wonderful resource and all the amazing staff and volunteers who daily help to save these wonderful creatures. With this national emergency they have lost a significant amount of their income due to lack of visitor tours and gift store sales. These people are on the front lines of saving Sea Turtles, please help by donating or buying merchandise from their on-line store. Thanks you!
