We first visited here in the 80's when Nickie Moretti had a dream of a Turtle Hospital. Then, it was a motel where the proceeds helped him build the Turtle Hospital. Nothing fancy, but it was a good cause. This was our first visit back to see what it has become. Our tour educator was incredible and her enthusiasm for her work was apparent. Loved to see all of the beautiful greens. Since we retired to Sarasota we have dedicated our volunteer activities to the Mote Marine Mammal Center. Love the turtles!!
