A hidden gem. I found this place by accident but it should be advertised more in the local area. These guys are doing an amazing job rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing sea turtles who experienced all sorts of "sea misadventures" (gastric problems, poisoning after ingesting plastic, propellers, predators etc). Also a chance for us to get close to those fantastic beasts and witness their recovery. Amazing people doing amazing work. A great place to visit and be inspired.
I didn't really know what to expect from the Turtle Hospital in the first place... now I have to say, it really is a great place!! Our guide was so enthusiastic, you could really feel how much passion they put in the challenge helping these turtles to recover and get released again.
I loved to visit the turtle hospital. We learned so much about your work. You do a great job with the turtles. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
