Do not miss this!!!! You'll be disappointed if you do.
I have passed it a couple times and finally was able to make a reservation to do the tour. The staff truly care for their turtles. I got a sense of pride and many are doing the work as volunteers. We enjoyed the tour very much. I'm not sure why anyone would rate this a one star. If they want to see better facilities, they could donate and support the effort. I applaud what these people do. Thank you!!
We followed the turtle hospital a long time on facebook and when we finally got there, it was just great. We see a very informative guide and it was wonderful how they care aboute the turtles. We would go back if we return to marathon!!!
This is a must see if you love turtles. They are doing amazing work
What a wonderful place!!! We weren't sure we were going to get a chance to go. But we were able to get in on a tour and it was one of the best things we did. Our guide/staff member Christine was so knowledgeable and was able to answer every single question our group had, while teaching us all a lot of things about turtles. If I ever make it back down to the keys I will def be back here!!!
I must for all to see. These folks should be proud of the work they are doing. Well worth the money. This is a not for-profit. So your helping a great group.
