The turtle hospital is worth a visit. It´s so good to see that there are people helping turtles who are in danger, sick, injured, or not able to go back into the ocean. Thank god that we have humans like them. The day at the turtle hospital was amazing. I enjoyed the tour and the conversations with the biologists/scientists. It was very informative, though the weather was suuuuuper hot. Their staff was so knowledgeable and always able to answer all my questions, while teaching me a lot of things about turtles. What a great job these people do for the Turtles.This was a wonderful and informative visit! Learned lots of things we didn't know about sea turtles and their environment! Very knowledgeable staff and you can see the love they have for these sick and injured turtles and the main goal is always to return them to the wild!This was a great experience and this is a must see if you love turtles!
I have been here. Years ago. But they continue to do amazing work.
