Awesome place to go while you are visiting the Keys. Very kid friendly!
It was such a wonderful experience. The turtles were just gorgeous. Very informative and i learnt many things I didn't know.
The Turtle Hospital does an amazing job in taking care of injured turtles, educating the public and releasing those turtles who are healthy and strong. Miriam, our guide was very well informed and prepared to lead the groups. Besides, she shows great experience and love for turtles. There was a release in the am yesterday which I was honored to witness ( and shed happy tears) . A not to miss experience for the turtle lovers like me.
Would have loved to check this place out but you have to have reservations. Suggestion: leave some spots open for walk ins. About 30 people turned away with us yesterday.
