Tammy was our tour guide and she was great! It was an educational, fun experience! We even got to feed the turtles!
I would recommend visiting The Turtle Hospital if you are visiting the keys. Our guide Tammy was very informative and friendly. The turtles that are rescued are well taken care of. If they can be released back into the ocean they are in due time. If they can not be they become permanent residents.
Other than the turtles of course our tour guide Tammy was awesome. She was well spoken, very knowledgeable and super kind. I would highly recommend checking The Turtle Hospital out. Oh yeah and Bubbles was pretty cute!
Such a great tour! Our guide, I think her name was Christine, did an awesome job teaching about the different types of turtles and the many reasons why they treat them! I’ve been to other turtle “hospitals”, none talk to you.. you just walk around and look in the pools.
A very educational tour given by Christine yesterday. The Turtle Hospital’s scope of practice in addition to giving tours is impressive. A worthwhile mission in action! -Highly recommend.
This place is amazing. Loved the tour and gift shop with the money going to help the injured turtles.
