It’s a great facility to visit and very knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend the educational tour and Michelle as an educator . She is really great in explaining the rescue process and passionate about the turtles and marine life . Highly recommended!
Took kids here today and we all really really enjoyed it! Lots of neat information plus getting see the different turtles. Staff was great and very friendly. Had an added bonus of seeing tons of huge iguanas as well.
This hospital and it’s staff are amazing for all that they do and the lives they save. We had our first visit today and will never forget. Thank you for all uou do for the turtles.
The Turtle Hospital is a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours on a windy, cloudy day in Marathon! The turtles are both adorable and majestic! Each patient has a hard luck story that you can hear from the guide or read about on signs posted near each turtle. The facility is clean, organized, well staffed and well run . The price of admition helps defray the costs for this small non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of endangered sea turtles.
Great presentation and explanation of the work they do. It’s a 90 minute guided tour with seeing their turtles up close. No touching but very close.
