RecommendedGreat night back at Tobacco Company last week! We were sat on 2nd and it wasn’t very crowded (we had a reservation but didn’t end up needing one), so we felt comfortably socially distanced. Our waiter was charming and knowledgeable (young man, dark hair) and the manager on duty (20-something woman, blonde-ish hair) checked in and gave us a warm welcome. I got the prime rib and the temp was a good mid-rare. Thanks for a nice dinner!

Butter cake and grapefruit cosmo were amazing, atmosphere was so much fun, attentive server, and the manager on duty (Olivia?) even came by to check on the table! Great evening.

Got set down at 6:30, didn't get our food and drinks at the same time, had to get up and get our own drinks at the bar, food was cold, waited an hour for our check, asked to speak to a manager and spoke with Olivia who said she would speak with her manager then got brought our same checks 30 mins later and told no other manager was there tonight. So sad what Covid restrictions have done to the restaurant business in Richmond. 3 1/2 hours later and all I can say that was enjoyable was the company around me. Food took forever, drinks took longer. Manager Olivia was apparently clueless when it comes to customer service and expectations. It was just not the same.
Went for Thanksgiving and it was delicious and the service was impeccable. So glad you’re back open!
