The bartender Chuck and our waitress Rebecca were awesome! Very friendly, efficient plus such a fun atmosphere in the back bar area! — with Karen Cameron and 3 others.
You won't find this kind of atmosphere anywhere else. A three story spacious brick restaurant, tastefully decorated with a vintage working elevator. There is often live music (jazz). A simple two page menu, with classic seafood and turf options and a more than decent beer list. For 2 entrees a kids meal, 3 adult beverages and a desert we spent $130 (gratuity included)
I’m not sure how I ended up with a $40 tab when I was only there for an hour (.79 drink happy hour) and I only got one drink that wasn’t on happy hour...

The interior space exudes warmth. A jazz quartet was playing Friday evening. I felt like we were back in time at a Speakeasy. The staff is efficient and friendly. The wine selection is good and affordable. We had the fried oysters, crispy over a bed of black eyed peas and corn with a chipotle aioli. The fried green tomatoes were good, my husband used the delicious fresh rolls and made himself a sandwich. My daughter took me to the Tobacco Company for Mother’s Day and it was a very nice experience. The waiter was very kind and helpful when we were deciding what to order and the environment was comforting. I really enjoyed my meal and hope to return very soon!
Excellent service and the food is amazing!! i had the Filet Mignon with Oscar! Wow! Chris is the best! Thank you for making the evening so wonderful!!
