Tile Shop customer service is terrible I had a miserable experience at The Tile Shop on Feb. 6, 2011 and will never go back there. You would think that a place called The Tile Shop would, you know, be able to handle easy requests for tile. I called before driving all the way over there to make sure the shop can cut a total of six tiles down to a custom size as we have an odd project that standard sizes don't fit. A great place for your next quality tile project! This is a GREAT store! They have really creative, inspiring displays and ideas, a wonderful selection of stone & slate tiles & trim, and the staff are very knowledgeable. Sean Avery and Chris are most helpful, and make sure that you have what you want. The store policy is great - I was able to cancel and return unused items without any hassles. Large selection of ceramic & stone tiles. Good class for novices. I took the 3 hr. tile class one Saturday and with the information they covered I have tiled an entrance, bay window, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with more confidence than a book or video could give me. Don't cheat yourself with a one hour course offered else where. This class covers problems such as how to align tiles with plumbing or windows, and it's FREE! Nice selection This is a nice open store with a good selection of tile. They don't carry a whole lot of speciality tiles such as glass and pewter. Their prices are very good and their customer service is wonderful. Their shipping charges are very reasonable. I also like that you can return what you don't need, even if the box has been opened.
