I have always enjoyed the Tiger's Den. The owners are fun, quirky, and real. I came downtown over a year ago looking for something to do on a quiet evening. Instead I found a place I can work during the day, play board games on Sunday afternoon, bitch about my life at night, and have random conversations with complete strangers. You guys are doing something right.

I love stopping in to gossip with Brian like a couple old bats. Sometimes I just drink water and expect a bunch of free stuff. Kidding. I enjoy drinking things. But most of all, Brian's sweaters and Amy's blazing eyes that make me question the universe and its cosmic motives.
A relaxing atmosphere coupled with the best drinks in town serve up a unique experience best enjoyed early and often. St. Joe's one and only book bar is a pillar of the downtown scene, and I look forward to many more years spent with friends here!
Me and my friends usually enjoyed coming to The Tiger's Den. It is a cute little bar in Downtown St. Jo. Unfortunately the owner is that kind of a person who throws you out of his bar over a glass of water, who would lash out on you and your friends for no good reason, who would use the f-word repeatedly to insult you and who would not realize that he is acting unprofessional and disrespectful and instead gloats about his uncivil manners on his facebook wall.

Not only does the Tiger's Den have the ideal atmospher -- great for reading alone or chatting with a small group of friends -- it is the best cocktail bar in town. They have a great drink list and even better people behind the bar.
