Celebrating my birthday this weekend at the Tides Inn with my husband was wonderful! We arrived around noon and the front desk supervisor said our room was ready (check in is normally at 4pm) and when I asked about a waterview room, offered an upgrade for a nominal charge. He also had chocolate covered strawberries sent to our room, such a nice gesture. I think what really impressed us was how genuinely nice everyone was. This place is awesome for a quick trip and quiet getaway. The staff is amazing and friendly..
My daughter just had her wedding here. The service from all the staff was exemplary, the food was fantastic, and the grounds and buildings were spot on. One of my favorite places.
Great venue for a corporate meeting. Close to Richmond and so peaceful. The folks working here do a great job and are nice to talk to.
