Great place for a night or two if you're visiting Meridian. This appears to be a mid-20th century hotel that's had a good refit. Downtown near the Amtrak station. Rooms are nice but not huge. Mine had a great view. Some dont. Large bathrooms. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nice rooftop bar with an 11th floor view. Several good local restaurants withing a very short walk. Might not be a good choice for kids. Only complaint I have is the wait for elevators. Seemed to wait a long time especially in the morning.
My family lives close to Meridian, so while I'm familiar with the city I've never stayed in any of the hotels there. The Threefoot Hotel was my first hotel experience in Meridian and I can't see myself staying anywhere else in the future. I was lucky enough to snag one of the Presidential Suites and I was very glad I did as the views from all of my windows, as well as from my private balcony, were absolutely gorgeous. The hotel is based in a building that is 100 years old. The rooms though are only 5 years old. The restaurant downstairs has a limited menu but excellent food and service by Sandy. The 11th floor roof access is nice as well with a bar and some food. The hotel is located in an old part of town, allowing to truly step into the past.
Best customer service I've had at a hotel ever! From the front desk, to housekeeping, to the restaurant, everyone was friendly, helpful, and courteous. Beautiful historic hotel with comfortable rooms and convenient location.
Such a beautiful building, inside and out. A huge preservation win. Rooms are cozy and clean. The rooftop bar is fantastic. All the staff were wonderful. Super friendly!
