You have to try it-it works! – TCRA is a wonderful; I had read really great reviews and decided to give it a try. I really didn’t know what to expect-some weird new age atmosphere, some clinical setting? I was very pleasantly surprised. The San Antonio office is beautiful. It is very comfortable, but everyone is a complete professional and very friendly. My first appointment was with David. He took our medical history, and thoroughly explained how their treatment works. It was an hour and a half, and by the time it was over,... read more

Pain Relief From Endo! – Last fall, I started seeing the acupuncturists at TCRA for pain related to years of endometriosis and chronic yeast and bladder infections. As someone not seeking help for infertility, I was really excited to meet acupuncturists who are experts in the entire field of reproductive health. They were able to offer relief for my host of feminine health problems through acupuncture, herbs, advice and even just by providing an ear to listen. The problems I'd been having were embarrassing and made it hard f... read more

Really awesome – I actually see them in their San Antonio office, but they are based in Austin and it is the same staff and professionals working in both so I wanted to leave a review here too! I wasn't a typical fertility patient - I had never had any treatments, I have one child, and got pregnant again at 40. I had a miscarriage and was devastated, and needed help just feeling "normal" again. I had heard of acupuncture and decided to give it a try. They were so kind and supportive, and listened to what I needed with no pre... read more

Can't rate it high enough -- PCOS help / pregnancy – I have been to many acupuncture centers over the years for assistance with my PCOS and with help trying to concieve. This center is by far the best, and I suggest it highly to any woman with reproductive issues. I *never* have normal periods on my own, and the only thing that has helped me is acupuncture. Ten years ago, I was able to have my daughter after two years of weekly acupuncture treatments, herbs, and dietary changes. After my daughter, my issues returned just as ... read more

Healthy Mind and Body = Healthy Pregnancy, FINALLY! – I am 38 years old, and my husband and I have been trying to concieve for over 3 years. We spent close to 2 years having tests run and trying out different fertility drugs. We finally concieved in Oct of last year, but miscarried just a couple of days before Christmas. I was devastated, and even more desperate to become pregnant again to fill that incredibly empty space inside. Several more rounds of fertility drugs later, I could not take the stress anymore and was ready ... read more

Highly recommended to any frustrated TTC'ers – We were TTC for ~2.5 years and the process was draining and depressing. Doctors could not diagnose the issue other than a slight case of endometriosis which was confirmed and cleared up via laporoscopic surgery. I started acupuncture at TCRA in January of 2010. All of the staff are super friendly. In particular, Mandy was amazing. So many days I came in ready to give up and on the verge of tears. She was so knowledgable and compassionate- I always felt better even before the acu... read more

Successful Treatment for Sub Chorionic Hemorrhage (SCH – I am 26 years old and recently became pregnant via IVF.Around week 8 I started having severe cramps and heavy bleeding. When this happened the first time I went to the ER and was told that it is a case of threatened abortion. But on the ultrasound they found twins with healthy heartbeats! My regular OBGYN told me that some women have this during their pregnancy. This is basically a blood clot in the uterus surrounding the placenta. He was not very concerned about it and sa... read more

So Far So Good ! – Two years of trying naturally to concieve.Being told by my Ob/Gyn to "just keep trying", After several IUI's with no sucess with a fertility speciallist. I was very discouraged that I would never get pregnant. I was referred by a friend to TCRA for treatment. I have never had so much support and postive feedback. Kirsten & I reviewed my history & cycle she started me on herbs and changed my diet, and acupuncture. At first I was very skeptical. I have always had very heavy periods with alot of clotting and p... read more

An amazing group of people, an amazing experience – When I first came to TCRA I hadn't had a 28 day "normal" cycle my entire life. I had been told I probably had PCOS and would need medication to achieve pregnancy. My intention was to go and try to regulate my cycles and just see how my body responded and if there was a possibility I could become pregnant before turning to further medical intervention. Not only did I have a 28 day cycle the first month of being a patient at TCRA, I was pregnant the next month! In fact, they ... read more
