I had a really good time at the concert. Even though it was standing room only, they crank the AC, so even with the crowd, I didn’t get hot. I also liked that there were a ton of stalls in the bathroom, so no lines for the women’s restroom. Parking is right across the theater for a flat $20, and the lot is pretty big, so parking was super easy.
Beautiful venue. And good access to all the usual dtla stuff near here.
Attended the Ivy concert last night, May 27. Was really looking forward to it, but there was one serious issue that essentially ruined the evening. There are many positives about the venue. It is a physically lovely and graceful space. Good AC to keep the temperature low despite a large crowd. No issues with the Security staff-they were polite and efficient. Nice bar.
