Terrible customer service. I ordered a product, they say they can't deliver it, but they can't give me a refund because the order has already been processed. What?
I bought a subscription for my husband to **** ************I personally have no interest in the topic but have been deluged with spam emails about tools, etc. I have repeatedly tried to stop these emails by clicking links in emails to opt out (more than 10 times over 3 months) and by twice emailing their privacy email. No response. Nothing works, and I am apparently condemned to repeated spam from various sources my information was sold to. Privacy policies are not being followed. First off, I love the magazine. I have attempted to sign up for unlimited twice already. Each time I have signed up, I have been unable to use the service, which has condemned me to their customer service line. As I sit here, I have been on the line for 15 minutes, and the wait continues to increase. I don't believe I have ever had worse service, particularly from a customer looking to spend money. I ordered the index to **** ********** ******** on USB 16 November 2022. Several emails and one phone call to Connecticut and still no delivery or even a "your product has been shipped" email. It has been 4 months. I think I will try to get a refund. Such a shame as the magazine is great.
I would give Taunton Press zero stars if that was an option. The digital and print subscription that I ordered and paid for in Dec 2021, mysteriously stopped. First, I checked my online account. On 12/20/2022 I placed an order for one book in print format and two PDF downloads. That day I received an email confirmation. On 12/23/2022 I received an email that the print book had shipped. I called customer service to ask about the two downloads. I was tone of the downloads would be shipped as a paperback book even though I had only paid for a download, and I would receive an email with a link to download the third item on the order. They said I would get the email in 24 to 48 hours and the book in two to three weeks. O... read more

Threads has the worst customer service. After not receiving many magazines and writing numerous emails always with different reasons in the terse replies I was told my subscription had expired. This was the 5th different reason to the non-delivery. I have never received renewal notice or any other assistance. Each year I have had to contact them for the Archive update renewal which costs $19.99. The only thing I have ever received is a sales pitch for the full Archive @ $99. I signed up for ***** ******** ******* *****(online access to articles, forum, etc) in January of 2022. I attempted to cancel my account on 07/12/22 online and was given error messages stating that the cancellation could not be completed at this time. I attempted to contact their customer service online using the button on their website for that and it gave another error message then stated that I was logged out for inactivity.
