The update to my review is based on my communications with the Senior Director of Operations. He was very empathetic regarding the situation I am facing and worked to address it and come to a resolution. He ensured that I was heard in a professional, respectful and kind manner. I believe that under his direction, the initial matter will be properly rectified. I appreciate that my ending experience is a better one than upon my entrance. Thank you very much.
This place has become one of the most poorly managed properties I’ve encountered. Concierge staff are being pushed to issue parking tickets at an extreme and unreasonable frequency—even during harsh winter conditions. This goes beyond policy enforcement and starts to look like pressure tactics that disregard both staff safety and common sense. I have recently moved into The Taunton. I am severely disappointed. This luxury building for which we pay top rent to reside, claims on their marketing brochure and their website and their rental agreement, to be a 100% non-smoking building (INSIDE their units and on building grounds). However, they 100% condone smoking. As such, The Taunton is operating a bait & switch scenario on future tenants. Parking situation is chronic here. They have some businesses at street level and there are barely any parking space these businesses and when you include delivery and visitor parking. It is a disaster. Look some where else
