RecommendedLocal watering hole for beer and wine, but no spirits. Small dining area in front, secluded outdoor area in the back offers more seating. Tasty offerings from the menu included roast beef sandwiches (house specialty), sliders of various types (BLT, beef, chicken, lamb), soups and salads. Friendly staff and clientele. The area/neighborhood may seem intimidating, but the Sycamore is a safe, welcoming place.

Just go. Food is delicious and beer is cold. Try the pan fried provolone and the pork belly donuts. You will not be disappointed.
One of my favorite outdoor bars. The back patio is reminiscent of homes in the Mission district that family and friends of mine had. It takes me back to pinatas, cake and family. The variety of beer is good and the food is delicious. They don't serve hard alcohol but thankfully they don't serve soju too.
Amazing Patio, Tons of Beer on tap, also bottomless mimosas for brunch.

I am visiting the city for the week and my uncle brought me here for brunch on Sunday. We had to place our order at the bar, which is fine. However, I don't feel the process is very efficient. We placed our order and then we were asked where we were sitting, but there was no seating we could easily find. She said, "I need to know where you are sitting so we can bring out your food.
