Our daughter with an ASD diagnosis had her tonsils and adenoids removed today At the surgical center on Rhode Island in Warwick. If we could give them 10 stars, we would! Everyone from the receptionist to check us in to the nurses and the Doctor Who performed the surgery were so unbelievably patient, kind and supportive through the whole ordeal! The level of care at the facility was adequate. My issue is with the billing department. After a minor procedure, I received a large bill without any detail, so I called and left a voicemail asking for an itemized bill. No call back so I didn’t pay the bill. Second notice - same thing. I received a final notice in the mail on 5/23 with a due date of 5/25, and a threat of going to collections. Left a voicemail immediately. No call back. Everybody at the surgical center was INCREDIBLE. Every single person I interacted with was pleasant, kind, and caring..I don't think I've ever encountered that in a medical facility before. Thank you to your wonderful staff for making a stressful morning better!
I was so scared to be having my very first surgery, and first time being put under anesthesia. But the staff at the surgery center were amazing! Reception was great. A smiling face and some jokes. And was very accommodating to my mother and husband. The intake nurse Jennifer, was nothing short of amazing! She explained everything to me in detail, and kept the conversation going, which kept my anxiety down. The anesthesiologist was super nice as well.
