Went yesterday for the first time and it was a lovely experience, as a matter of fact is my number 1 hair salon, Alyssa is great.
Moved here a little over a year ago and spent the first few months trying to find a stylist I liked! Came across this salon by sheer luck. From the first time Valerie did my hair I knew I found my place! Now not only does Valerie give me the best hair ever she has taken on my fickle daughter! She loves Val also! Everyone is friendly and nice. Thanks Valerie and The Hair Studio!!
I went there for the first time recently and saw Valerie. It was a great experience and one I can’t compare to any other salon I’ve been too. The Studio really cares about their customers, it is very client centered and you can tell they love what they do. I’ve already booked my second appointment which is unheard of for me and I am going to bring my daughter for her hair too!! I can’t recommend this place enough!!
Only get your haircut by Jeannie if you 1. Know how you want to feel on the inside with your new style and need a professional to make it happen on the outside 2. Enjoy watching someone know the science and chemistry of what they do and watching them love doing their job and 3. Think it's nice when total strangers come up to you from the beginning of your cut til your next appointment and compliment your hair. All.The.Time.
This place is THE BEST. I hadn't been maintaining my hair since moving to Michigan 3 years ago because I couldn't find a stylist I *clicked* with. I saw the reviews for the Studio and was skeptical, but made an appt anyway. I'm so glad I did!!! Emily is amazing, and I haven't had a cut and style yet that I haven't just liked, but loved!!! Thank you!
Valerie was the best stylist I had and followed her from Nadwa to Rush Salons. My experience with her at Hair Studio, where she did her original training was not even close to the experience at the other salons. Hair was great, as usual, but I Wasn’t even offered a cup of coffee & had to fight for the measly $4 discount being offered on nailcare at the time. Plus very crowded, no place to sit...I haven’t been back.
