The Stephen Foster Story is a broadway-style show about the life of America's first composer, Stephen Collins Foster. The performance takes place in My Old Kentucky Home State Park at the J. Dan Talbot Amphitheatre. The grounds on which the theatre lies once belonged to the Rowan family, who were cousins of Stephen Foster, and is home to Federal Hill, the plantation house that inspired the state song. Excellent music, singing, dancing, costumes. Very enjoyable.

Been several times over the years n enjoyed the show every time. Hoping to go to the Mary Poppins show.
I spent many summers at my grandparents in Bardstown during the 60's. They had season tickets and i would walk downtown several nights each week to attend. Lots of great memories! It was always a great production!

I went with my daughter and another mother-daughter duo....We had a wonderful time at the Stephen Foster Story performance. There was one beautiful actor/dancer/singer named Olivia...she was stunning!!! She lit up the stage when she was on it. The entire cast was terrific! Linda
