The Stephen Foster Story is a broadway-style show about the life of America's first composer, Stephen Collins Foster. The performance takes place in My Old Kentucky Home State Park at the J. Dan Talbot Amphitheatre. The grounds on which the theatre lies once belonged to the Rowan family, who were cousins of Stephen Foster, and is home to Federal Hill, the plantation house that inspired the state song. Today 27 of our people from the Russell Senior Citizen Center (Russell, Ky) came to see the program. We thoroughly enjoyed it all!! The actors/singers were terrific! Thank you for the great presentation!!

it was in 1970 when I saw THE STEPHEN FOSTER STORY WITH MY PARENTS I guessed my guardian angels my parents attended the performance with me bravo too all the cast of THE STEPHEN FOSTER STORY
WE PURCHASE OVER 20 TICKETS each year... We always attend both shows. It is entertainment for the entire family, and is a great atmosphere, as the performers and office personel are some the most upbeat folks you will ever meet. We look forward to, and anticipate, what the new show will be each year !
It was an awesome experience, my children and I loved it. We will be back again.
I have been to the Stephen Foster Story around 5or6 times I have gone with different people that had never been before .Yes I have enjoyed it every time I have been there.
Went to see Beauty and the Beast with 3 of my nieces. My youngest niece told me it was the best birthday present she had ever got.
